Altrika has been recognised by Professional Engineering as one of 10 UK companies that illustrate the best of UK innovation and are changing the world.
The magazine, published by the UK Institute of Mechanical Engineers, includes Altrika as proof that innovation is alive and well in the UK by pushing forward boundaries and operating at the cutting edge of technology. In particular, Altrika’s Cryoskin® regenerative skin treatment is highlighted along with the improvements it can bring to the treatment of burns and scald, particularly in children.

This highlights Altrika’s success in the Disruptive Solutions Competition run by the Technology Strategy Board and plans for the development of a spray version of Cryoskin®. This new product presentation will allow Cryoskin’s benefits to be applied to a much wider range of injuries, thereby opening up its benefits to many more patients.
